Our Production: OLD WEST DINNER

Miss Lottie, owner of the Old West Hotel and Restaurant hosted a dinner. The dinner was held as a Fundraiser and was a tremendous success.

Synopsis of the evening:
The evenings entertainment at Miss Lotties's Hotel/Restuarant was filled with music and hilarious antics by some very colorful characters. As the evening progressed three "outlaws" entered and began to make humorous remarks and generally disrupt the evening. The Hostess threatened to call the sheriff on them. This is for the Dinner guests enjoyment and is leading up to the melodrama ( the main feature of the night)

The Melodrama features the Whitt family, Ma, Dim, Nit and the lovely Prissy May. It is a typical "Villain versus the Ranch Owner". The Whitt family cannot pay the taxes. The Villain proposes to marry Prissy May to get his hands on the ranch for gold has been discovered there. A meek and shy new teacher arrives in the town and has a confrontation with the outlaws. In the end the meek and mild teacher becomes a hero as he is really a gunslinger whom everyone has heard of. The ending is hilarious as they "shoot it out" and of course there is a very happy ending.
