"Guess Who's Coming To Our House?" 

Synopsis: Comedy sketch about Abraham and Sarah and the coming Promised baby, Isaac (Genesis 17 KJV) Time: Approx. 10 minutes

At Rise: Abraham sits and reads a scroll, Sarah is knitting, both wear biblical robes and are made to appear very old.

Sarah: (hums "rock a bye baby", as she knits)  The house seems so quiet. (No response) Don't you think so Abe?

Abe: Hmmm? (not looking up)What was that Princess? Did you say somethin?

Sarah:  Yes Abe, (smiles shyly) I've got something to tell you.(pause) What if I told you that we were going to have a little visitor soon. A little bald-headed, toothless visitor, someone who we.....

(He cuts her off)
Abe:  On no... not your Mother again, Sari she was just.....

Sarah: (Indignant) No not my mother! (Smiles, ties again) Abe...what if I told you, that soon, you were going to hear the pitter, patter of tiny feet all over the house?

Abe: Hmmm.... Well I guess, I'd get the cats in again to kill those pesky mice.

Sarah: Oh Dear! Abraham ! What do you think I'm knitting? (holds up blue booty)

Abe: Well it looks like a sock, but it'll be too small for me, It's the same color of that sweater you made me last year, the one with three arms. Sari, when are you gonna realize that... as a knitter...you're a good cook!
