SCRIPT PREVIEW:

Dr. Sensible:  I see..tell me about it.

 (after a lengthy description of her problem)

Tanya Touchy: We are left out of everything. (cries) Waa..I am simply going to quit the church! (cries)

Dr. Sensible: (Addresses the nurse) Nurse Sandy, please take an x-ray of Ms Touchy's heart and lungs.

 Sandy takes x-ray (with camera) (She hands a ?film' to Dr, he studies it) Hmmmm, tsk, tsk..just as I thought.

Touchy: Is it serious, Doctor?

Dr. S: Ms Touchy, I'm afraid that you have a chronic case of.IT'SALLABOUTME-ITIS.

Touchy: (gasps) How long do I have, Doctor?(falls at Dr's feet) I don't want to die. Oh, save me, save me.

Dr. S: (helps her back up to seat) Look at this Ms Touchy. (shows x-ray) This shadow here indicates a growth of a very sour spirit. It is caused by not giving your heart to church work. These other lumps indicate extreme petulance and crabbiness. It comes from thinking only of yourself and allowing yourself to get hurt and offended over the slightest things. You should be too busy working for God to worry about such minor things.

Ms Touchy: You mean.I have brought this on myself? What can I do, Doctor?

Dr.S:  (Picks up a bottle) This is Volunteer-acillin. You need to take one everyday, starting now. This will make you be eager to work for the church

(Nurse opens a bottle of huge pills. Ms Touchy takes one, make it funny).

Dr. S: Proverbs 18:24 says, "A man that hath friends must show himself to be friendly.." If someone doesn't ask you to do a job, then volunteer. Every department needs help. Forget about yourself for a change. Get involved and get busy working for your church, and you'll find those lumps of imaginary offenses will just disappear.

Ms Touchy: Oh, I feel it working already. And I am thinking of something I can volunteer to do. I can call sick folks, maybe go by a visit a few. Oh Doctor, thank you, thank you. You've given me hope. (walks out smiling)
